Robert for Meals on Wheels
|
The purpose of SUCCESS is to assist and support adults who have
developmental disabilities along with a variety of other significant disabilities get
"connected” in their communities while promoting autonomous and self-regulated
behavior; self-advocacy and leadership skills; as well as self-empowerment.
The goal of SUCCESS is to provide support to adults with developmental disabilities who have historically not met the entrance criteria of traditional day programs. SUCCESS will assist people during the day to participate in meaningful life experiences that make sense to them; are individualized; and with supports provided appropriately by the right people.
The program curriculum of SUCCESS is developed to reflect our philosophy that all individuals should be supported in natural environments.
